Nina the Dog needs a home

Nina came to us from a puppy mill auction, she is very shy but loving.  She needs to gain confidence and learn to trust but has never shown any sign of aggression.  She came to us pregnant and has been a wonderful mother and wonderful with the foster allowing her to help with the babies.  She is now ready for a forever home or foster home to show her what her new life with love will entail. 



We are not sure how she is with other dogs or cats since she came to us pregnant.  














All dogs are fully vetted (spayed/neutered, current on all vaccinations (DHLPP, Rabies, Bordetella, dewormed) on monthly HW/flea/tick preventative. HW negative or have been treated for HW.   



All adoptions require a completed application, vet/reference check, meet/greet, as well as a home visit before finalizing any adoption.  This can take time - we do not offer same day adoptions... If you are interested in one of our pets,  please complete an application first,  this does not commit you to anything, but will speed up the process! !!    



Once your application is received  it will be reviewed to see if the pet you are interested in is a good fit for your family based on the information you provide.  BE SURE TO ANSWER ALL QUESTION ON THE APPLICATION THOROUGHLY AND COMPLETELY.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: 



1.) Complete an application at http://www.luckyk9.org/adoption-application this does not commit you to adopting, it is just the FIRST part of our process



2.) We will review application, contact references (current/former vet(s), landlord/home owners associations) INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE RESPONDED TO.... 



3.) If references check out and current/previous pets have been vetted & cared for, we will contact you to schedule a meet/greet. 



4.) If the meet/greet goes well, we will schedule a home visit and bring the dog you are interested in to your home to finalize the adoption.
